The ruleCore CEP Server is a server for executing Complex Event Processing (CEP) rules. 

The ruleCore CEP Server is designed from ground up to be an event-driven component which fits smoothly into any Service Oriented (SOA) or Event Driven (EDA) architecture. All tasks are performed using XML events sent through a flexible Event I/O module based on the Mule ESB.

The ruleCore CEP Server is language independent. Clients communicate with ruleCore using a selection of event transport protocols, such as JMS, REST or WebServices. Thus any system capable of handling XML can manage rules and send events to the ruleCore.
